OPEX Benchmark Event


On September 15th, Kaizen Institute Singapore hosted an Operational Excellence (OPEX) Benchmark Event together with our client OLAM – Operational Excellence as Strategic Enabler of OLAM’s Transformation.

The main theme of the event was on how OPEX has transformed OLAM’s operations and is integrated in OLAM´s strategy. Through this event, OLAM shared their insights and experience on:

  • How OPEX is transforming OLAM’s operations
  • How OPEX is integrated into OLAM Strategy and how it benefited the business
  • How to foster improvements and deliver superior results in a global organization that operates in 5 continents and over 100 locations
  • How to integrate business improvements and cultural transformation to deliver sustainable performance

The event included sharing sessions by Neelamani Muthukumar (Olam Group CFO and CEO (Operations) Olam Agri), Vivek Agarwal (VP Global Operational Excellence, Olam Food Ingredients), and Antonio Costa (CEO, Kaizen Institute), a roundtable with representatives of Kaizen Institute, Kearny and OLAM followed by a Q&A.

The participants were C-level executives, Vice Presidents and Directors, who gained valuable insights into the best practices that contributed to OLAM’s business growth.

The event offered ample possibilities to get inspired and was the ideal platform for stimulating exchange of experiences and expertise on KAIZEN™ and its impact on the organizational culture and the company’s environment.
