Insights into successful KAIZEN™ Transformations at XIX European KAIZEN™ Congress

The XIX European KAIZEN™ Congress took place on April 18 in Poland, organized for the third time in cooperation with WSB Academy. The Congress was hosted online and attended by more than 600 practitioners and enthusiasts of Continuous Improvement. It was broadcasted on the Pay Per View (PPV) platform and concurrently translated into English.

The guiding idea of each European KAIZEN™ Congress is the motto “Practitioners for Practitioners”. Kaizen Institute Poland invited practitioners from well-known Polish and European companies to participate in the Congress and share their successes and challenges during their KAIZEN™ transformation journeys.

During this year’s edition, attendees heard inspiring speeches from experienced KAIZEN™ and Lean practitioners. They learned more about strategy creation and its operationalization and optimization projects in market-leading retail and discrete manufacturing organizations, all based on facts. In each of these companies, building a KAIZEN™ culture was a natural approach to streamlining processes, supporting leadership, and creating a competitive advantage.

Impressive effects of their KAIZEN™ transformation projects were presented through 11 case studies by 16 speakers from the companies: Busch Polska, XYLEM/ Lowara Vogel Polska, ALCO-MOT, NM Polska/VELUX, Gebhardt-Stahl Polska, Shell Lubricants, Kaizen Institute South Asia, Kaizen Institute West and East Africa, La Lorraine Bakery Group Polska, and Roca Polska.

The event concluded through an expert debate with Gebhardt-Stahl Polska representatives. During the debate, participants witnessed the exchange of ideas and experiences between practitioners and had the opportunity to ask questions and have a discussion.

The purpose of the congress was to provide an opportunity to benefit from proven solutions, referring to years’ experiences of others, and protect against the pitfalls that can be encountered on the road to excellence.
