Kaizen Institute Saudi Arabia collaborates with the local Government
Kaizen Institute Saudi Arabia won a large public sector contract at the beginning of 2019 from the Saudi Arabia government, aiming at improving online public services provided by twelve government departments. The main challenge of this undertaking was to align the project with a renowned global indicator, the UN e-Government Development Index (eGDI), with the core objective of improving their global ranking. Kaizen Institute Saudi Arabia accepted the challenge and achieved remarkable results with their client.
Three aspects of a country’s development of information technology is measured under this index: the provision of online services, telecommunication connectivity, and human capacity. This KAIZEN™ project included a number of deliverables that contributed to the significant transformation of online public services. This was achieved through several improvement cycles that identified strengths, challenges and opportunities, leading to improvements in Saudi e-Government strategies and policies.
During July 2020 the United Nations e-Government Survey 2020 was published and we are grateful to announce that Saudi Arabia improved its ranking with nine positions on the eGDI scale from 52nd to 43rd.
Kaizen Institute Saudi Arabia’s consultants, under the leadership of Mahmoud Alzoubi, have achieved remarkable results in collaboration with the Saudi Arabia government, especially after two consecutive transformation projects failed before the Kaizen Institute era.
Congratulations and a word of thanks to everyone who contributed to this success story.
