COVID-19: Kaizen Institute’s Response
The COVID-19 outbreak is foremost a human tragedy, affecting hundreds of thousands of people. It also has a drastic impact on the global economy.
As businesses across the globe struggle due to the sudden and complex challenges related to the unfolding pandemic, it highlights the importance of a KAIZEN™ approach and its subsequent Lean processes to help us be prepared for a crisis and to overcome it.
In an age of globalization and intricate supply chains, the unfolding pandemic is an unprecedented situation for all businesses, with the continuing uncertainty of the effects on global markets. However, it also brings improvement opportunities in areas such as risk management and project management.
Kaizen Institute is here for you
As the impact of COVID-19 touches every corner of the globe, Kaizen Institute is working in response to these unprecedented circumstances faced by our people and communities. We are also continuing to serve our clients.
Nonetheless, nothing is more important than the health and safety of our clients, team members, suppliers and communities. We will continue to base our decisions on the guidance we receive from national and local public health authorities. We are also ensuring all of Kaizen Institute members are aware of the important role they play in staying safe and keeping others safe.
In adherence to local regulations, the vast majority of Kaizen Institute consultants are now working from home, similar to the employees of our clients. This, however, is not stopping us from remotely serving our clients and supporting them in their individual situations with our consulting and training services, safely and reliably.
With the increasing reliance on virtual collaboration instead of physical meetings, our consultants are well equipped to set up a virtual work environment. In addition, our digital services KAIZEN™ Online (provides online video trainings) and KAIZEN™ Time Study (an industrial engineered analytic software), perfectly complement our consulting and training services to assist our clients.
The unfolding events are concerning and severely disruptive for all of us. Due to the rapidly evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are closely monitoring the situation and activating contingency plans in an effort to continue serving our clients as supportive as possible.
In the end, KAIZEN™ principles and methods cannot stop the damage done by the pandemic, but they can provide support to organizations to weather the turbulent months ahead.
You can count on us at Kaizen Institute, guided by our mission: Improving the World with Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day.
