On the 25th of April we are organizing a Virtual Tour at Avex in Japan. During the tour, you can discover how KAIZEN™ is implemented at this Japanese Automotive Company.
What can you expect to see?
The Virtual Tour offers a unique look behind the scenes at a Japanese production company that thinks and acts according to the KAIZEN™ principles.
It is worth remembering in advance that the KAIZEN™ values, beliefs, and principles are completely embedded in the culture of origin – Japan – that they are virtually invisible. Therefore, do not expect an explanation of tools or methodologies. What you should expect is:
A presentation by one of the senior executives on the strategic importance of KAIZEN™ to the organization
An explanation of the structure in place to embed KAIZEN™ into the company culture
A video-guided visit to the shop floor, focusing on KAIZEN™ implementation
Since it is a virtual tour, we will see and hear how KAIZEN™ is lived, but we cannot smell or feel it. There will be an opportunity to submit questions to the organization. This, combined with a joint reflection after the tour, will strengthen the translation of what we have heard and seen to our own specific context.
